,Walking In Beauty

The greatest gift: My mother gave me, is the Gift of Beauty and Creation. She taught me that as a Woman, I was in partnership with the Creator to help create Beauty and to be a Life Giver.

I was taught to give Beauty to all my creations. Whether it be my own children, grand-children. a dress, jewelry, or whatever my imagination desired to create; this is my stewardship.

I am of the Living Arrow Clan. We are the Dog Soldiers/Warriors of our people. We are outspoken, aggressive, we speak our minds. We are protector of Righteousness.

My clan was adopted into the Bitterwater Clan. I am born for the Manygoat Clan.

My Daily Motto:

Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, " Oh Crap!!! She 's UP!!"

Rainbow Dancer--The Explanation of the Outfit

I will explain the symbolism of this dancing outfit.  Her Crown,  designed Le Nora and Ron Bowman, her father, did the Silversmith..  The red/orange/yellow colored ribbons represent the "Fire", the Blue colored ribbons, represent the "Rain".  The Blue shawl represent Father Sky.  The Roses represent the Plant life.  The Feathers represent all "Our Winged Brothers".   The triangle shapes on the front of the skirt represent the "Buffalo Hoofs"  which in turn represent all "Our Four Legged Brothers" The deep blue color of the skirt represent the "Waters, The Tear drops of our Creator". The light blue hem on the skirt represents the "Air, The Breath of God".  The Red at the bottom of the skirt represent the "Red Road" that we should stay on through out our lives.  The three black circles are representative of the three worlds in which the Human Being; has existed in;  is now existing in  and will exist in when they leave this Earth Journey. which is on the upper part of the skirt.  The stair case design  on the upper skirt tells that in our life's journey, we will learn and grown to meet our Creator as we climb the stairs to the Skies.  The black and white squares on the vest is representative of the "Good and Evil"; we will encounter on our Earth Journey.  Her scarf holder is of silver in the shape of the "Medicine Wheel"   The bead-work is done with "Cut beads" which sparkle which are the "Stars". Rachel, represents all the gracefulness and Beauty of Womanhood. Her crown is her glory, her privilege is to "Dance on Mother Earth", for she has earned that right, she is the" Rainbow Dancer".
